The mission of Jewish Family Services of the Inland Communities is to provide for the social service needs of persons throughout the geographic region of Southern California known as the Inland Empire, consistent with Jewish morals and values, regardless of race, religion, nationality, color, creed, age, gender or sexual orientation. In pursuing its mission, the organization will aim to accomplish the following:
- To support individuals and families in the face of crisis and to help resolve such crises with counseling and aid.
- To provide assistance, information, and referral services to persons experiencing emergencies because of social, emotional, economic, housing, physical, legal or other changes in life.
- To provide assistance to older adults and their families in dealing with the developmental and situational challenges associated with aging, consistent with the goals of preserving and enhancing the independence, dignity, and security of the aging individual.
- To maintain and develop cooperative relationships with the community and organizations in the overall planning for the provision of social and community services.
Jewish Family Services of the Inland Communities runs a low-cost outpatient mental health clinic, conducts educational programs for both the general community and the professional community and provides information and referral services for those in need.
